Positive: Claudio is very sweet and has done a lot of work to make the landscape and living quarters clean and well-managed. He has all sorts of extras for use and takes great care of his things - bikes, kayaks, sun-loungers, snorkels. Plus, an abundance of delicious tropical fruits. There’s a nice little bay just on the other side of the street that’s a beautiful and peaceful place to kayak. Would be wise to have a car, so you can drive around the island and explore, although bikes will get you there as well. Note that it’s not close to the airport or ‘town’ or places to eat (but there is a kitchen), so rent a car if any of that matters. :) No A/C, but fans and water to dip in when it’s hot! Claudio lives just next to the unit and is helpful if needed. His English is limited so speaking Italian, French or Spanish will offer more ease of communication. ;)
